ABOUT THE AGREEMENT
OVERVIEW
EIFL has negotiated free membership of the Open Book Publishers (OBP) Library Membership Programme for libraries that are members of library consortia in EIFL partner countries. Through this agreement, libraries in EIFL partner countries can get unlimited free downloads of all 370+ OBP titles in all formats. The collection of e-books includes monographs, edited books and textbooks. The collection is constantly expanding.

- 20% discounts on set-up costs for the creation of course packs and other types of customised editions created by mixing and matching content from OBP publications;
- Permission for libraries to upload any digital edition of an OBP title to the library’s repository or ebook collection, and to keep it permanently;
- Access to downloadable MARC (machine readable cataloguing) records to integrate e-books into the library catalogue and make them more accessible.
How to download paid versions of e-book free of charge
- You must access the openbookpublishers.com website from your library or through your university's network, as the system will identify your library's membership by its IP address;
- Choose the title, and all Download options should be free (if you access openbookpublishers.com from any other location, you will see some of e-book formats with prices).
