EIFL in Slovenia

EIFL has been working in Slovenia since 1999. We supported the creation of the Consortium of Slovene Electronic Collections (COSEC),  and through this partnership, libraries in Slovenia are providing access to a wide range of scholarly e-resources. EIFL agreements with publishers also allow authors in Slovenia to publish in open access in hybrid or fully open access journals at waived or discounted Article Processing Charges (APCs).

EIFL supported an open access advocacy project that resulted in the launch of a national open access advocacy group and an open access portal, Open Science Slovenia

EIFL also provided training and a support service to raise awareness of library copyright issues, and to assist with copyright questions.
