Would you like to learn more about legal issues in open research data? If so, register for the free Eighth OpenAIRE workshop which takes place as part of the Research Data Alliance (RDA) Ninth Plenary Meeting, in Barcelona, Spain.
The workshop will explore legal obstacles and possible solutions to opening up research data. It will offer a critical understanding of the key legal issues surrounding open research data, including data protection, intellectual property rights and public sector information. It aims to foster data sharing and reuse by giving concrete recommendations to stakeholders on what their legal obligations are and how best to negotiate them.
The workshop will be also the opportunity to discuss the new OpenAIRE legal study and to present the data anonymization service developed by the OpenAIRE IT experts.
