Scene from WIPO SCCR/40 in 2020. To prevent the spread of COVID-19, SCCR/40 met in hybrid mode, with physical participation limited to Geneva-based delegates, and everyone else participating remotely. The modality of SCCR/41 is to be decided.

The 41st session of WIPO's Standing Committee on Copyright and Related Rights (SCCR) is scheduled to take place in Geneva from 28 June  - 1 July 2021. 

The modality of the meeting has not been confirmed - it will be influenced by guidance from the United Nations and any host country restrictions, and decided in consultation with the Member States. SCCR/40 took place in hybrid mode (in-person for Geneva-based delegates and online).

EIFL participates in discussions on limitations and exceptions for libraries and archives, education and research, and a proposed treaty for the protection of broadcast organizations.
