Learning training skills - Zambian public librarians practise their skills during a training-of-trainers workshop organized by EIFL in May 2019.

Five Zambian public library trainers are to conduct a one-day workshop on ICT skills and communications and advocacy for 30 librarians representing public, special, school and academic libraries. The trainees come four provinces: Lusaka, Southern, Western and Eastern provinces.

The five trainers, Allan Hagwelele from Choma Provincial Library, Fatimah Demohey from Lusaka City Council Library, Alice Musonda Mwape from Zambia Library Service Headquarters, Given Besa from Lubuto Library Partners and Margret Miti from Chipata Provincial Library, learnt training skills through a national initiative that EIFL is implementing EIFL in partnership with the Library and Information Association of Zambia (LIAZ). The initiative has built training skills of 11 Zambian public librarians to enable them to train colleagues from other libraries.
