EIFL will speak at a workshop hosted by Qatar National Library to raise awareness in Qatar about the benefits of the Marrakesh Treaty for persons with print disabilities, and to give guidance on implementing the Treaty nationally. The State of Qatar acceded to the Marrakesh Treaty on 24 October 2018. 

Teresa Hackett, EIFL Copyright and Libraries Programme Manager, will give a presentation on the benefits and opportunities of the Treaty. The presentation will be followed by a panel discussion with representatives of disability organizations and other local stakeholders.

The workshop takes place on the occasion of the 2018 EIFL General Assembly that takes place in Qatar from 6-8 November 2018.
