Agreement provides waivers and discounts on APCs for authors from 33 countries

EIFL has signed an agreement with Wolters Kluwer Health that provides waivers and discounts on Article Processing Charges (APCs) for corresponding authors from certain EIFL countries when publishing their article in open access in the fully open access journals Medicine and Medicine Case Reports and Study Protocols.

The agreement runs until December 2023 and is open to authors from 33 EIFL partner countries. Details are as follows:

Waived Article Processing Charges (100% discount - no fees) for corresponding authors from: Congo, Côte d'Ivoire, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Lesotho, Malawi, Maldives, Moldova, Myanmar, Nepal, Senegal, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe

50% discount on Article Processing Charges for corresponding authors from: Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Botswana, Fiji, Georgia, Kosovo, Namibia, North Macedonia, Serbia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, West Bank and Palestine
