The presentation, ‘Building librarians’ skills to offer ICT-based services to communities in Africa’, focuses on EIFL-PLIP’s training programme in three countries (Ghana, Kenya and Uganda), describing its principles, curriculum, approach / methodology, and results. The training aims to empower librarians to offer technology-based services and to provide free public access to the internet.
