
EIFL will participate in a training webinar on copyright law and ethical issues in research organized by EIFL’s partner, the Consortium of Uganda University Libraries (CUUL). The webinar is part of a monthly series of events on a variety of topics organized by CUUL for members of the consortium.
The topic for the March webinar - Copyright and Ethical Issues in Research - includes understanding the basics of copyright and its implications for libraries, exploring strategies for promoting copyright literacy and ethical practices among library users, and managing copyright in academic settings.
The speakers are Teresa Hackett, EIFL Copyright and Libraries Programme Manager, and Prof Jane Secker, Senior Lecturer Educational Development at City, University of London, UK.
The webinar is open to members of CUUL.
