eThekwini Municipality Libraries in South Africa has invited Ramune Petuchovaite, Manager of the EIFL Public Library Innovation Programme (EIFL-PLIP), to participate in a ceremony to honor Woodhurst Public Library on winning an EIFL Public Library Innovation Award. Ramune will join the ceremony online to congratulate the library and its team. 

Woodhurst Public Library, in Chatsworth, was one of four winners of the 19th EIFL Public Library Innovation Award, for public library STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics) programmes and activities. Woodhurst Library won the award for its STEM Makers programme that works through branch libraries of the eThekwini Municipality Libraries to teach students practical digital skills, including coding and robotics. 

The EIFL Public Library Innovation Awards recognize innovative library services and programmes that use ICT to improve lives and livelihoods in developing and transition countries.
