ABOUT THE RESOURCE
Recording (55 minutes) of the EIFL webinar for editors and publishers, part of the ‘Strengthening Scholarly Publishing in Africa’ webinar series.
Milica Ševkušić of the EIFL Open Access Programme explores ways of optimizing daily editorial workflows, from manuscript submission, through editorial review, selection of reviewers, peer review, production, publication and post-publication discussions. Special attention is paid to the realities of volunteer-led and institutionally supported journals, and to improving and assessing journal transparency, discoverability, accessibility, interoperability and compliance with good publishing practices. This webinar builds on the EIFL Guide on Editorial Workflows in Diamond Open Access Journals, but will also be useful for the editors of all types of journals.
