The EIFL General Assembly (GA) is our major knowledge sharing event of the year. This year, we will be holding a virtual General Assembly, over two days, via Zoom. The GA is open to all EIFL Coordinators and member libraries of EIFL partner library  consortia.

The GA will open with a welcome address by Emilija Banionyte, Chair of  the EIFL Management Board and the annual update of EIFL activities by Rima Kupryte, EIFL Director, followed by a keynote address by Aaron Tay, Head of Data Services at Singapore Management University Libraries on the topic, ‘AI in scholarly publishing and access to knowledge’.

EIFL Programme Managers will provide updates on their work: Licensing (Britt-Marie Wideberg), Copyright and Libraries (Teresa Hackett), Open Access (Iryna Kuchma) and Public Library Innovation (Ramune Petuchovaite). A separate session will be organized with EIFL Licensing Coordinators to discuss current negotiations with publishers.
