EIFL has renewed its agreement with Oxford University Press for 30 e-resources, including journals, online databases and e-book collections. 

The list of e-resources includes: 

• Oxford Journals Collection of over 350 journals
• The Oxford English Dictionary, a historical dictionary of the English language
• Oxford Reference Online reference database
• Oxford Handbooks Online, a collection of over 1,000 handbooks
• Oxford Scholarship Online, a collection of 17,000 academic monographs
• Oxford Medicine Online, with medical content from over 1,000 books
• Oxford law resources, covering different areas of law including international law, competition law, constitutional law, and legal research content

For the 2020 renewal of the agreement, Oxford Scholarly Editions Online and the Oxford Research Encyclopedias were also included.

• Oxford Scholarly Editions Online is a collection of primary works by authors active between 701 and 1901, plus Classical Latin and Greek authors — from Aristotle, Austen, Bentham, Catullus, Dickens, and Donne through to Plato, Virgil and Wordsworth. It contains over 1,500 scholarly editions — the equivalent of more than 760,000 print pages. It constitutes the cornerstone of research in the fields of English Literature, as well as Philosophy, History, Religion, and Classical Studies.
• Oxford Research Encyclopedias is a collection of essays on a wide range of topics, designed to give readers an overview of a subject that they can understand in half an hour of reading or less. The Oxford Research Encyclopedias are written for anyone wishing to expand their knowledge, from a student just starting out in their studies to a researcher needing background in a related field.

The renewed agreement runs until 31 December 2022 and is open to libraries in 31 EIFL partner countries:

Institutions that are interested in getting access to this content should contact the EIFL Licensing Programme coordinator in their country, who will send them documentation to complete.
