EIFL has signed a new agreement with Euromonitor International for its products Passport and Research Monitor. The agreement runs from 1st January 2016 until 31st December 2017.

Passport is an award-winning market research database used by the world’s top academic institutions and Fortune 500 companies to understand the global business environment in a time of rapid change and increased globalization. It features millions of statistics and in-depth reports on 27 industries with demographic, macro and socioeconomic data and analysis on consumers and economies in 210 countries. The agreement includes the option to subscribe to a limited version of Passport, where content is reduced to one of seven regions.

The new agreement makes Euromonitor available to libraries in 36 EIFL network countries: Angola, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Botswana, Cambodia, Cameroon, Congo, Ethiopia, Fiji, Georgia, Ghana, Kenya, Kosovo, Kyrgyzstan. Laos, Lesotho, Macedonia, Malawi, Maldives, Mali, Moldova, Mongolia, Myanmar, Namibia, Nepal, Senegal, Serbia, Sudan, Swaziland, Tanzania, Uganda, Uzbekistan, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

Research Monitor is a business reference database offering an affordable introduction to high quality research on industries, countries and consumers worldwide. With unlimited access to more than 5,000 industry and country reports across 80 countries and daily breaking news articles on factors influencing the business landscape, it is an ideal resource for business research.

Research Monitor is available to libraries in 44 EIFL network countries: Angola, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Botswana, Cambodia, Cameroon, Congo, Estonia, Ethiopia, Fiji, Georgia, Ghana, Kenya, Kosovo, Kyrgyzstan. Laos, Latvia, Lesotho, Lithuania, Macedonia, Malawi, Maldives, Mali, Moldova, Mongolia, Myanmar, Namibia, Nepal, Nigeria, Palestine, Poland, Senegal, Serbia, Slovenia, Sudan, Swaziland, Tanzania, Uganda, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
