The project will target research scientists, policy makers and research managers, and librarians. The management of CSIR is committed to disseminating the organization’s research as widely as possible.

Main project activities include:

  • Setting up of an open access policy group at CSIR;
  • Awareness creation and soliciting views across all 13 institutes of the CSIR     on open access;
  • Drafting an open access policy for CSIR;
  • Workshop to validate a draft open access policy;
  • Discussing and adopting an open access policy for CSIR.

“EIFL is pleased to partner with CSIR-INSTI to support OA policy development at their institution,” says Iryna Kuchma, EIFL Open Access Programme Manager.

“The objective of the project is to further the opening up of scholarship and research that we are seeing through the growing open access, open research data and open science movements,” she says.
