We are pleased to announce the publication of our 2025 Annual Report, in which we share our achievements and tell the stories of people who have benefited from our work.

A special feature in this report highlights the contribution of the EIFL Open Access Programme (EIFL-OA) to opening up access to research through open science training. Since 2004 EIFL-OA has trained over 374,000 people in EIFL partner countries and beyond in open access, open data and open science. We have also organized and co-organized bootcamps to build open science training skills, and in 2024 we began building a Community of Practice (CoP) for open science trainers in Africa and Europe, which has grown to over 80 members. In the feature we interview members of the CoP about the training they are conducting, and how their training is advancing open access and open science in their institutions and countries.
