In this half-hour EIFL webinar, you can find out what’s on the agenda of SCCR/42 (the the 42nd session of WIPO's Standing Committee on Copyright and Related Rights) - and the library position, learn about a new proposal from the African Group for a work programme on exceptions and limitations at SCCR, and how you can support libraries and the right to research before, during and after SCCR/42.

Teresa Hackett, EIFL Copyright and Libraries Programme Manager, highlighted the key issues, and shared practical information on how you can get involved.

The SCCR/42 takes place in Geneva from 9 - 13 May 2022. It is the first full meeting since the start of the pandemic. It will take place in hybrid format, with in-person participation in Geneva and online.

During COVID-related travel restrictions, member states did not engage in negotiations or decision-making, and observers, such as EIFL, could not attend. Now restrictions are lifted, and SCCR is back in business!
