EIFL has renewed the current agreement with Intellect Ltd. to provide access to its collection of e-journals for three more years.
Intellect is an independent academic publisher committed to supporting original thinking in new and emerging subject areas in the fields of film studies, cultural and media studies, and the visual and performing arts. The Intellect Journals Collection gives access to 99 peer-reviewed journals in these subject areas, including their back issues. The journals are accessed on the Ingenta Connect platform.
New journals include Studies in Costume & Performance, the Journal of Interdisciplinary Voice Studies, and the International Journal of Food Design. Forthcoming journals include the Indian Theatre Journal, Journal of Popular Music Education, and Transitions: Journal of Transient Migration.
The agreement between EIFL and Intellect runs until 31 December 2019 and is open to library consortia and their members in 20 EIFL countries:
Cambodia, Congo, Ethiopia, Fiji, Ghana, Kenya, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Lesotho, Malawi, Namibia, Nepal, Palestine, Senegal, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, Uzbekistan, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
Institutions from the above countries that are interested in getting access to this content set up should contact the EIFL Licensing Programme coordinator in their country, who will send them documentation to complete.
